It still features the lives of a group of moms. The show features a solid cast led by Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Zoe Kravitz. Things get more exciting with the inclusion of award-winning actress Meryl Streep.

Expect more lies – both small and big ones – as detectives try to make the stars confess to the mysterious murder.

Stranger Things

Season 3 of this Netflix original series will continue to give viewers the feels for the 80s. However, things are very much different now. The kids from Hawkins are bigger, emotional, and hormonal than ever.

Yes, previous seasons took place around Halloween but season 3 now counts as one of the newest summer TV shows with its new setting. The third season now takes place around Independence Day.

With everybody thinking the Demogorgons are gone, everyone’s guards are down. Expect a bit of romance to develop between Mike and Eleven. As for Dustin and Steve, their “bromance” is also something to follow.

As for the extraterrestrials, expect them to come back stronger and bigger than ever. After all, everyone’s growing up fast.

Moreover, you will still get your fill of fourth-wall breaks that you oh so loved in Season 1.

Preacher

He loves to drink and smoke.

Furthermore, Custer goes through a crisis of faith. This leads him to gain supernatural abilities. With his newfound gift, he attempts to understand the reason he possesses powers.

If you are looking for a show with low-brow humor and an outstanding cast, the Preacher and his gang are a good company this summer.

The show zooms in on how the case impacted the lives of the five men. It also gives viewers a glimpse of how the events affected the lives of the suspects’ families.

Be ready to wipe your tears as you watch the series. Catch this on Netflix.

Orange Is the New Black (OITNB)

Returning for the seventh season is this American comedy-drama series. OITNB focuses on the life of Piper Chapman. She goes to prison for 15 months for carrying a suitcase full of drug money.

Fast forward to Season 7, Piper is out of jail and Taystee is guilty of the Piscatella murder. Find out what happens to Chapman in this series finale in late July on Netflix.
