Both cases have a clear bumper all the way around and the rear has the images of Princess Tiana and Princess Aurora.
I really contemplated writing this news up today, mostly because what’s there to say about iPhone cases? But I decided to bring you the news because these particular cases actually look really cool. Disney has teamed up with OtterBox on two new Disney Princess iPhone cases.
Both cases have a clear bumper all the way around and the rear has the images of Princess Tiana and Princess Aurora. Being a father of four awesome girls, I know all about the Princesses, LOL. The cases themselves seem to be typical OtterBox construction, semi-rugged but still slim enough for most. The cases also have a raised lip to protect the front of your iPhone.
The Disney Princess iPhone cases are available for a limited time only and are available for the iPhone X and Xs at a cost of US$44.95 and the Xs Max at a cost of US$54.95. As far as I can tell, only Tiana and Aurora will be on these cases. Here is a bit more info on both Princesses from Disney Fandom:
Tiana
Princess Tiana is the protagonist of Disney‘s 2009 animated feature film, The Princess and the Frog. She is a gifted cook living in New Orleans during the Jazz Age, with dreams of opening a restaurant of her own. In a desperate attempt to achieve her goal, Tiana shares a kiss with a prince that had been magically transformed into a frog. In doing so, Tiana falls victim to the curse, as well, setting off an adventure in the bayou to find a cure.
Tiana is the ninth official Disney Princess and the most recent to originate from a traditionally-animated feature.
Aurora
Princess Aurora (also known as Briar Rose) is the titular protagonist of Disney‘s 1959 animated feature film, Sleeping Beauty. She is the daughter of King Stefan and Queen Leah. On the day of her christening, Aurora was cursed to die by the evil fairy Maleficent. Due to the efforts of three good fairies, the curse was altered to draw Aurora into a deep sleep that can be broken by true love’s kiss.
She is the third official Disney Princess, and the last to be developed by Walt Disney.
The only way to get these cases is through the OtterBox Instagram account @otterboxstyle. The rest of the princess collection can be found on the OtterBox website here.
