Samsung hasn’t really talked about the Galaxy Home smart speaker since the Note9 announcement. The second-generation model of the Galaxy Home smart speaker is the Galaxy Home Mini. It is also ready for public beta — but only in South Korea.
Those in South Korea are able to join the beta starting on August 28th to September 1st and winners will be announced on September 4th, 2019 per Samsung’s website for the Galaxy Home Mini. It looks like Samsung is looking for 3000 people to test out the speaker and have provided steps on how to apply.
If you live in South Korea, check your Samsung Members app and make sure you have a nickname. If you don’t, create one and then go to the beta program page you are viewing and then complete the beta program application. From there it’s a waiting game to see if you have been selected as a beta tester.

There is currently no beta for the full-sized Galaxy Home. That speaker was supposed to launch the first half of this year but was pushed back to third quarter 2019 because the company was working to “refine and enhance” the speaker before its release.
